"Where do I have to leave the bag? There??".... Shit, I can't see, oh yes, there beside the cabin..... I have to pee.... again! OK, let's do this before the start, and maybe something more too!

Wait, a start? What am I talking about?? A start of WHAT??

I'm sitting in a tiny toilet, trying to do my best to relief my body of toxic waste accumulated just a few hours before duting the annuary Kisk Off organized in the company I work - great party by the way and lovely lecture - but again, back to the main issue..... What start? Of what?!

I knew very well that I was freezing and why I was shaking, it was bloody humid and freezing outside, freaking cold and just 3 a.m!!!

Sometimes I just can't find a good reason why I'm running these races. Why do I need to hurt my body this way.... well, I had something like 18 or more hrs to find an answer to that!

Just a few hours ago I was sitting in a warm place, drinking beer, chatting with my colleagues, having fun, eating fancy meals.... A lot of the chatting was related to the race. Apparently my working colleagues were more concerned about me and my (mental) health than I was I guess. Well, it seems that people are quite fascinated by other people stupidity, craziness, madness, extreme-something.... Quite interesting isn't it!?

I left the drop bag, did my private things, and was there, standing in front of the start line together wit other 43 strong boys and girls. Once again, what the hell am I doing here with all these power-dudes!? OK, "get your crap together" I figured! Let's do this!

So, with a few lager beers in my body, some red wine and a little vegan food we were running. The first km I was breathing like a fish I guess. Maybe that was the reason why Anders stopped and left me running ahead - we never met again that day, I never meet none of my friends I know - or maybe was my bad body smell. I guess that alcohol mixed with sweat is not the best combo! :)

Well, the pace was OK, I wasn't! The first 35km I was really happy to have people around. I was not focused at all, I struggled keeping the pace, I had issues hitting the proper trails and following the marks.... I guess the organizers should check not only the gear equipment before the start, but the idiocy level too!

The trail was really icy, sometimes technical, slippery,...

To be continued...
